Sempermed USA announces the launch of our newest nitrile examination glove brand, TenderTouch® 100. This glove joins the TenderTouch® family, which currently includes TenderTouch® exam nitrile (200 glove count, 180 XL). TenderTouch® 100 is tested for use with chemotherapy drugs and meets the USP 800 requirements for PPE compliance. These soft nitrile gloves are packed 100 per box, which is an economical choice for a variety of applications and environments where hand protection is critical.

Due to the current extenuating circumstances, Sempermed has implemented a new Return Policy effective as of March 15, 2021.

Sempermed USA announces the launch of our newest industrial vinyl glove brand, SemperGuard® Black Vinyl. This glove joins the premium industrial SemperGuard® family, which currently includes SemperGuard® Nitrile Powder-Free, SemperGuard® Latex (Powdered and Powder-Free), SemperGuard® Vinyl (Powdered and Powder-Free), SemperGuard® Blue Vinyl Powder-Free, SemperGuard® Stretch Vinyl Powder-Free, and SemperGuard® FoodSafe Stretch Poly. SemperGuard® Black Vinyl is 100% free of DEHP and DINP, and is manufactured without accelerators, reducing the risk of dermatological reactions.

It was announced in a press conference on May 22, 2021, that Malaysia would be put under a stricter ‘Emergency Movement Control Order’ due to the rapidly rising COVID-19 cases in the country. Not only is the country under a lock-down, but consequently all factories, including glove manufacturers, are ordered to reduce their staff to 60% of the registered workforce on-site between May 25th and June 7th

Due to the increase in Covid-19 infections throughout Malaysia, the Ministry of Health has prolonged the current “Movement Control Order” within the country, implementing even more restrictions for the most affected areas. Despite Sempermed's proactive, protective measures, our Sempermed production site in Kamunting has been impacted by this order.

The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) affecting our factory since July 8th, 2021, was lifted on Friday, July 30, 2021, by the Malaysian Ministry of Health. We began running our glove production lines on Saturday, July 31st.
