Emergency Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia
It was announced in a press conference
on May 22, 2021, that Malaysia would be
put under a stricter ‘Emergency Movement
Control Order’ due to the rapidly rising
COVID-19 cases in the country. Not only
is the country under a lock-down, but
consequently all factories, including glove
manufacturers, are ordered to reduce their
staff to 60% of the registered workforce
on-site between May 25th and June 7th.
Most of the world’s glove production occurs in Malaysia, so this situation will have a
global impact. Our factory is striving to optimize production output under the given
restrictions. We are currently in the process of evaluating the potential effects regarding
scheduled delivery times for individual orders.
Please be assured that we are doing our best to ensure the timely delivery of your
examination glove orders. If you have questions, please contact your Sempermed
