Product Allocation Changes on Latex
COVID-19 continues to have a significant impact, not only on our day-to-day lives, but also on the global supply chain and on factory capacity relating to disposable hand protection. Due to the situation, all customers ordering from our domestic warehouses are being held to strict allocation programs.
Effective immediately, Sempermed will have allocation changes for our StarMed Latex (SM) and SemperCare Latex (SCLT) brands. As mentioned in last month’s Covid Crisis Communication, StarMed Latex (SM) is going to be on a long term backorder. Moving forward we will be able to offer a comparable exam latex in our SemperCare Latex (SCLT).
SM101 and SM104 allocation will need to be moved to SCLT101 and SCLT104 beginning immediately. Sempermed will reevaluate inventory levels for remaining sizes often and will move the allocation from SM to SCLT as inventory runs out for each size.
As July Purchase Orders are processed, we will eventually run into outages in certain sizes (SM101 and SM104 already out of stock). If you currently have an open PO that requires an adjustment, your salesperson will reach out to determine if you would like to purchase SemperCare Latex (SCLT) instead.
Allocations for SM will be converted to SCLT by the end of July.
Effective August 1st, customers with SM allocation should be ordering SCLT (for all sizes) instead.
Please note, this is not a substitution, but rather an option to continue stocking a comparable exam latex product. Your salesperson will provide you with your SCLT price. Revised PO’s/written approval from customers may be needed.
Sempermed is monitoring the situation closely and will communicate further details as they become available.
At Sempermed, we care about your comfort and protection, always. It is the driving force behind what we do. Our gloves are disposable. The people they protect are not. ®
