Clearwater, FL, March 25, 2010: Sempermed USA, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hand protection, donated its premium Polymed latex exam gloves to St. Francis Soup Kitchen in Jacksonville, Florida in an effort to help the less fortunate.

For over 30 years St. Francis Soup Kitchen, a volunteer operated facility in downtown Jacksonville, has served hundreds of the community’s less fortunate, poor, homeless, and anyone in need of nourishment. The Soup Kitchen serves over 650 meals every week in addition to supplying clothing and canned goods to those in need.

St. Francis Soup Kitchen is supported entirely by volunteers and private donations which is why even the smallest donation can go a long way. Donating quality products to those in need is just one small example of how Sempermed gives back to the community, reinforcing their corporate mission which is to provide protection.
“We at Sempermed feel fortunate we were able to contribute to the great works of St. Francis” said Brooke Himot, Marketing Manager for Sempermed. “Giving back to the community is important and we appreciate the hard work, time and dedication of each volunteer. Sempermed is grateful for the opportunity to provide protection to those in need.”
